Too often, we forget to prioritise ourselves and make time for our own health and wellbeing . Maybe you feel guilty for taking time out? Do you feel too tired? Maybe you are ‘too busy’?… Whatever the reason, it needs to stop. If not, you will crash and burn. We all need to work on our SPIRITUAL HEALTH which will improve our MENTAL HEALTH and wellbeing!
Treating your body well requires you to look at exercise and nutrition as only a small % of an overall balanced lifestyle.
SELF-NOURISHMENT
When you think of the word ” self-nourishment”, what do you picture?
For me it is going for a surf or getting a massage.
Self-nourishment can prevent burnout, reduce the negative effects of stress, promote a healthy-work life balance and help you refocus. It is not just your physical, mental or social health, but your spiritual health
that plays a major role in your day to day life.
Health is an intertwined phenomenon – if one cog in the wheel is off it is all off and the wheel rolls along inefficiently!
At TWM we focus on improving your physical, social and mental health… but it is up to you to improve your spiritual health.
